August 2007

August 1st -to- 5th:  Working on my "Revelation picture"

August 6th & 7th:  Camping with family.

August 8th & 12th:  Along with working on my "Revelation picture" I was building a couple of pine shelves, for my sister, while fighting a 'full out' battle with the Devil...

He (the Devil) was flashing image after, perverted, image into my mind and filling my head with all kinds of ideas, it was, almost, unbearable.

August 12th:  In an act of reaching out to God for help (and in an act of defying the Devil, at the same time) I uncovered a book of (KJV) Bible verses entitled, "God's Answers For Your Life" that I had "hidden away" eight months earlier (while defying God).

I took the book and entered my Study.  I sat in my chair and tilted the chair back and with the book closed, in my hands, I raised my hands toward Heaven (to God) and said, "Guide me Lord, right from the start.  Speak to me again."

I brought the book down and "randomly" opened the book to pages 118 & 119; which contained these verses:

II Corinthians 4:8 - 10

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed;

we are perplexed, but not in despair;

Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus,

that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

I Peter 5: 10 & 11

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus,

after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

I Peter 2: 20 & 21

For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults,

ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it,

ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us,

leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Romans 8:17 & 18

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;

if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy

to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

II Timothy 2:3

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 2:9 & 10

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death,

crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things,

in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

James 1:12

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried,

he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Then God filled (flooded would probably be more correct) me with His Holy Spirit.

And, this time... I spoke the words that came into my head.

Then the Devil, immediately, showed up and said, "Now just because you're feeling like that and crying and saying those words don't mean that its the Holy Spirit.", to which I, immediately, replied, "Shut up, Devil, go back to hell..."  And he did... with his proverbial tail between his proverbial legs...  And he never came back until the 20th.

And for twelve days (August 12th to August 23rd) God's Holy Spirit was with me from 4 to 10 hours a day and I spent that whole time weeping, and weeping, and weeping, and praising God in the language on men and of angels.

After this day, I have not studied much about Bible prophesy.  I'm sure that I'll be led back to it, sometime in the future but, now it has been, mainly, the Holy Spirit leading me through the Bible for spiritual growth and guidance... and who am I to argue... I certainly need it...  I have always dreamed about studying under some great university professor and now, the Holy Spirit, my teacher be...  What more could I, really, possibly, ask for?

August 18thThe longest time 'infilled' with the Holy Spirit...

I spent, around, two hours, in the Spirit, sometime, before supper.

I ate supper, cleaned up, and put another eight-hour VHS "audio tape" (which contained spiritual music) in my player, at 7:30 pm, and I sat down in my chair and started praising God; He, immediately, filled me with His Holy Spirit, again.

I came (somewhat) to my "earthly" senses, for a moment and noticed the display on the VHS player read, exactly, 4:00 (meaning that four hours had gone by and that there were four hours left; to this tape).

I felt God's presence so much that I felt the need to knell down, I did, and the next thing I knew, the tape was over, it was now 3:30 am and I was, laid out, on the floor.

It felt as if every cell in my body was vibrating, my sinuses were blocked solid (which meant I had to breath through my mouth) and with every breath that I breathed down it was as if the very air was vibrating and it stimulated my mouth, my windpipe and my lungs (my whole body).

I did not, nor, do not, deserve experiences like this.  Yes, I did overcome the Devil, but that was ONLY with God's help, and what, must have been, 'oodles' of prayers (by other Christians).  In the past I have been THE WORST SINNER and, up until 07/07/07, THE WORST HYPOCRITE.  So, if God would do all of this for me... He will do it for anyone... anyone, that is, who seeks Him.

August 20th:  After eight days of being 'flooded' with the Holy Spirit I felt God telling me to go up in my bedroom, lay on my bed and praise Him up there.

I had enough wire on one of my speakers to reach so I took the speaker up to my bedroom.

I will not go into the details, on this one but, the Devil, then, tried something to discourage me... It did not work.

I went back, downstairs (in my bare feet) and put in an eight-hour audio tape and hit play.

I was thinking about fasting again but, I was a little hungry and I opened the refrigerator door and, immediately, the cold air sank down around my bare feet.  I said, "Lord, is that sign, that I should fast? and then I said, "Ah, with what you've done for me, already, I will anyway." and I shut the refrigerator door and went back up stairs.

Before I laid down on the bed I decided to knell down, by the bed, and pray, and read some more of this little book of Bible verses.

It was getting dark and, instead of turning on the big light, I took a small LED flashlight (which had a nylon strap) and, with a thumbtack, stuck the flashlight into the ceiling directly above the book (that was now laid on the bed), turned it on and got down to read and pray.

One of the things I prayed was, "Lord, don't ever let me forget these days with you."  For I knew that this experience (being filled with the Holy Spirit, 4 to 10 hours a day) could not continue for very much longer.  I wanted it to, though; mentally and, especially, spiritually I was feeling ALIVE and I had a sense of ultimate peace but physically... I was exhausted...

Sometime later I really felt God telling me to get up on the bed... so I got up and laid in the middle of the bed where I noticed that the light was shining down in the center of my chest.  That was okay, and I left it there as I raised my hands and 'sang' along with the music and praised God.

After a very short while I heard a voice telling me to, "Move down under the light"  that is all the voice said but, I, somehow, knew what it meant... 'Move down until my eyes were directly under the light.'

I had a little trouble with this request, "why would God tell me to move down under an LED flashlight?"  And besides, they are intense and hurt your eyes if you look directly into them.  So I just continued to praise God where I was at...

I was still feeling, however, that I should move down under this light.  But then the Devil was there disguising his voice as my 'internal logical' voice again and I did not.

But a short time later, I heard the voice again (this time stronger and repeatedly), "MOVE DOWN UNDER THE LIGHT, MOVE DOWN UNDER THE LIGHT, MOVE DOWN UNDER THE LIGHT" so I did...

It was hurting my eyes but I stared at that light; trying to figure out why God was telling me to look at this light???

And I'll tell ya, the Devil (now, I know it was, I only suspected back then) tried so hard to get me from staying there under that light...  He tried everything, even, disguising his voice as God's voice, telling me that, "looking at that light is something that the Devil would have you do, trying to hypnotize you, or something"

But, by now, I was catching on and I put my hands back up, in the air, and said, again, "Nope, I'm going to trust you... Lord, I'm going to trust you Jesus" and BAM, God filled with the Holy Spirit, again.

I then forgot about the light and was weeping and praising God (in the Spirit) with my eyes closed.

It must have been about two, or three, minutes later when I heard 'the voice', God's voice, say, "Open your eyes, now..."  I opened my (now, tear filled) eyes and because of these tears, that little light, now, seamed ten times brighter than before and I went to look away and close my eyes, at the same time.  Before I could do either, out of my speaker came... "MY JESUS SHINES BRIGHTER"

I saw all of the little variables leading up to this point...  I saw how, if I had not followed the Holy Spirit I would not have experienced this blessing from God.  I saw the "Devil's work" to prevent this "illumination" and I saw God's, INFINITE, wisdom, power and presence and I continued to be filled with His Holy Spirit for several hours...

It is God's Holy Spirit that leads you to God, it is God's Holy Spirit that draws you closer to Him and it is, also, (in this flesh existence) how God reveals Himself to you...  If you do not have the Holy Spirit living within you - you cannot, truly, and FULLY know God.

August 23rdI do not know, exactly, how long I was, 'in the Spirit' this day (somewhere around five hours) but after this day it started to drop off... somewhat.

Sometime, during this day, I took that little book of Bible verses again and done the same thing, as on the 12th.  Sitting in my chair, book in my hands, hands and book raised toward Heaven I, again, ask God to speak to me.

Here's what He said...

Psalm 91

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High

shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress:

my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,

and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust:

his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;

nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;

nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side,

and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge,

even the most High, thy habitation;

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:

the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:

I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:

I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

With long life will I satisfy him, and shew (show) him my salvation.

Psalm 27:1 & 5

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion:

in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Isaiah 43:2

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;

and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee:

when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned;

neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Isaiah 59:19

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west,

and his glory from the rising of the sun.

When the enemy shall come in like a flood,

the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Psalm 5:11 & 12

But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice:

let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them:

let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous;

with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Those passages done more for me than anything else could have; to my God... Jesus be the glory.

August 28th:  The Chickadees...

From August 8th to this day (the 28th) I had not gone outside, at all... and it had been the most beautiful weather you could have ever wanted (sunny and hot every day) just the way I like it.  But God told me to stay inside, so I did...

On this day, however, I felt as if, God was telling me it was okay to go out and get some sun.  So I took my 'little book of Bible verses' and my mountain bike and went to a secluded beach area to read this book, praise God and enjoy the wondrous beauty of His nature.

While there, on the beach, I noticed a path, through the trees, and decided to check it out.  I walked, about ten feet, into the trees when all of a sudden chickadees (one of my favorite song birds) started to swarm in around me.  There must have been, at least, 30 to 50 little chickadees that landed in the branches around me; many of them from, only, 1 to 3 feet away from my face.  They were all chirping like crazy, not like they usually sing (chick-a-dee-dee-dee-dee) but a different song (I can't remember that one, exactly ;).

I just stood there for a while with my mouth opened and with tears filling my eyes, to afraid to speak (as to scare them away) but after a very short while I started to say, "Praise you Jesus, praise you Jesus" and it did not even affect them, they just kept coming in and chirping... Praise you Jesus...

After about 10 or 15 minutes they started to move on; and so did I, in total amazement of God's power, sovereignty, beauty and loving kindness... Praise you Jesus.

I'll tell ya... a lot of people are missing out on God; even some of the "Christians" do not know God.  He is there for anyone, and everyone, who calls upon Him, and who seeks Him.

Below are more Scripture that the Holy Spirit led me to between August 12th and the 31st.

Acts 2:17 - 21

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,

I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

And on my servants and on my handmaidens

I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

And I will shew wonders in heaven above,

and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,

before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

And it shall come to pass,

that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Psalm 40:1 - 3

I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit,

out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

And he hath put a new song in my mouth,

even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

Isaiah 59:19

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west,

and his glory from the rising of the sun.

When the enemy shall come in like a flood,

the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

II Timothy 1:7 -9

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;

but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner:

but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling,

not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace,

which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

John 15: 14 - 16

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth:

but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you,

that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:

that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Galatians 5:22 - 25

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

I Corinthians 2:9 - 14

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man,

the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:

for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?

even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God;

that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth,

but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:

for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

John 14: 14 - 18, 26

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter,

that he may abide with you for ever;

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not,

neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,

he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Mathew 10:20

For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Luke 12:12

For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Isaiah 1:19 & 20

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword:

for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

I Samuel 15:22

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,

as in obeying the voice of the LORD?

Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

Joshua 24:20

If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt,

and consume you, after that he hath done you good.

Joel 2:13

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God:

for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,

and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

Hosea 12:6

Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment and wait on thy God continually.

Isaiah 25:9

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him,

and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Matthew 24:4 - 14

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:

see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:

and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world

for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

II Timothy 3:1 - 5

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,

blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers,

incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

I Timothy 4:1 - 3

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith,

giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats,

which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

II Timothy 4:3 & 4

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;

but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Daniel 8:23

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full,

a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

Isaiah 61:4

And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations,

and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

Isaiah 60:1 & 2

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people:

but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Psalm 22:27 & 28

All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD:

and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.

that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

John 16:8 - 15

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Of sin, because they believe not on me;

Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:

for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:

and he will shew you things to come.

He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

All things that the Father hath are mine:

therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
